The Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union's meal service for students will start Wednesday via delivery and pickup, filing a need during the time all SVSU schools are closed for families who rely on school meals.

All schools in the Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union will be closed at the end of the day on Tuesday, per an order from Gov. Phil Scott aimed at mitigating the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.

The Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union announced Friday that it will cancel all athletic events, practices, field trips and afterschool programs for two weeks, beginning Monday, to help prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

Voters elected primarily incumbents in mainly uncontested school district board races and approved multi-million dollar district budgets at town meeting on Tuesday.
